UMG BUYERSEDGE CALL CHARGE ON MY CREDIT CARD.
|
Feb 18, 2008 UMG BUYERSEDGE complaint by Chenrydnc |
I have never hear of this company and there is a charge on my credit card for this company. I called my credit card company and they told me to check a web site umg buyersedge and to call the number listed on the website (678-325-3114).
I called and received an answer machine answer, with a detailed message of where to apply for a job. I left a message explaining why I was calling. We shall see what happens.
It me this is stealing. I'd like to know who this company got my credit card number. This is scary.

Great! Guess what. When I called Citi call centre, I said I've a unknown charge on my statement and the rep. said, oh yeah, is that "UMG?" are you sure you didn't sign up anything...and he said sure we'll Investigate and in the same time we must cancel your credit card and after 7 days you should receive a new card. *%&$#@ UMG make me panicky because I’ve other credit cards and if all get attack by UMG, then I’ve to cancel all my credit cards… GOOD LORD! How many weeks without credit cards?

I called 1-866-834-4536 and immediately got through to "larry." He was actually not rude at all and told me that I had enrolled in their service when I made a purchase through Taylor Gifts.
I told him that I didn't want to be enrolled, he apologized and gave me aconfirmation onumber for the cancelation.
I was sort of disappointed...I think I was looking for a fight! Ah well...

I realized today that a charge in the amount of $11.99 was withdrew out of my account today. The company name was UMG I had to do a lot of research before I realized that many other people have had the same problem. I notified the company UMG and they employee Ron was very ruled to me. So I notified my bank. I also filed a complaint with the Better Business Buearu. I even search through the BBB files and guess what even the BBB has no idea what this company is.

I found two charges UMG*BUYE & UMG*MYAD on my credit card. I don't use this credit card except to pay cell phine, cable & amazon.com bill. I can't figure out where did this company got my credit card information. I google search UMG, and all the sites come out are consumer scam alerts & complaints sites. I'm still trying to figure out where did this company stole my credit card information...

I found the same charges - done through personal creations. I filed a complaint, cancelled my card and my bank is now investigating. Those numbers are bogus - you cannot get a person.

They didn't get to mine yet But I buy for my husband with Kingsize and TODAY in the mail I got a letter from crap That kingsize signed me up for this plan I NEVER asked for so also GAVE my creditcard number. (without even my knowledge. I was angry and called right away kingsize and this company . They didn't charge me any money YET but i already had a red flag up and will track this . because they told me that I am off there list of crap . How is this all possible I want to know. that they get from these companies as (kingsize) the peoples creditcard numbers,I will not do business anymore with king size that is for sure. And that is what I told them also and wanted all information removed. If i get mail from one or the other i will take legal steps agianst them.

I had the same unknown charges--$14.95 for the last two months. I had my credit card co. call them and it got ironed out. I bought something on SkyMall and they explained that this was a discount program. I do not remember opting for this--and plus, I never opt for add-ons like that. What a rip! Hope that helps.
